BAGUIO CITY– It’s all systems go for the 14th edition of the Bishop’s Cup golf for-a-cause at the world-class fairways of Camp John Hay Golf Club, here, slated to kick-off on November 4.
The event is conducted by the Bishop’s Cup Foundation headed by Bishop Carlito Cenzon of the Baguio-Benguet vicariate. Himself an avid golfer, Cenzon also chairs the Burnham Park Fence Committee that spearheaded the fencing of the city’s premier tourist spot and promenade area.

Balangue said tickets for non-members are pegged at P2,000 while those for members are P1,500. Each golf ticket will include one round of golf, a mulligan, cocktails, dinner, a raffle and others. However, the ticket will not include the caddy’s fee.
For hole sponsorships, she said a P20,000 sponsor will be given four golf tickets and one whole tarpaulin of 2’x6’ for advertising purposes; a P10,000 sponsor will get 2 tickets and one-half size tarpaulin while a P5,000 sponsor will be given a ticket and one-fourth size tarpaulin.
She disclosed that proceeds of this year’s Bishop’s Cup will go to the San Jose Church in La Trinidad, Benguet; the Divine Mercy Church along Marcos High-way and 10 percent will be used for other community projects in Baguio and nearby towns.**gaby keith/PIO
