BAGUIO CITY (PIA) — Two Cordillerans are among the topnotchers of the recent Radiologic and X-Ray Technologist licensure examination.
Divina Sagmayao Tallion of the International School of Asia and the Pacific (ISAP) – Tabuk Branch in Kalinga is Top 8 of the December 2021 X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination with a rating of 81.25.
Kyron Dangsi Lumasi of Saint Louis University and a native of Sagada, Mountain Province took the 10th spot with a rating of 88.60% .
Commission on Higher Education congratulated the topnotchers in a social media post.
Meanwhile, SLU is the second top performing school in the Radiologic Technologist board exams. 20 out of its 24 examinees passed the board exam for 83.33 percentage passing rate.
De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute is the top performing school with an 84.21 % passing rate with 32 passers out of the 38 examinees.
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 786 out of 2,177 examinees passed the Dec. 2021 Radiologic Technologist Licensure Examination while 44 out of 155 passed the X-Ray Technologist Licensure Examination.
The exams were given by the Board of Radiologic Technology in Manila, Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga.
The PRC advised that registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line from February 2 to February 9, 2022. Applicants are advised to go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow the instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), two sets of documentary stamps and one piece short brown envelope.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals. Date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees will be announced later. **JDP/RMC- PIA-CAR
