LAMUT, IFUGAO Tony Ong Bannot Dinamling, an alumnus of Ifugao State University (IFSU) – Lamut (Main) Campus, clinched the 2nd spot in the February 2026 Criminologist Licensure Examination (CLE) with an impressive rating of 92.70%.
The results, released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on March 13, 2026, also catapulted IFSU-Lamut (Main) to the Top 3 Performing School nationwide. The university earned this distinction in the category for schools with 200 or more examinees and at least an 80% passing rate. IFSU recorded a stellar performance with 225 passers out of 241 takers.
Hailing from Bolar, Duit, Kiangan, Dinamling is the middle child of Pastor Eddie and Mrs. Virgie Dinamling. Having earned his degree in Criminology, he remains deeply grounded in his faith, crediting his achievements to the power of prayer and divine guidance.
Reflecting on his journey, Dinamling shared a scriptural message: “If a child asks a father for bread, the father will not give him a snake.” He expressed deep gratitude for Gods intervention and the unwavering support of his family, University officials, and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE).
The 23-year-old lad was a Tulong-Dunong Program grantee under the UniFAST, pursuant to Republic Act No. 10931 or the Universal Access to Quality Tertiary Education Act.
He expressed deep gratitude for Gods intervention, as well as the unwavering support from University officials and the College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE).
Dinamling is the fourth CLE topnotcher produced by IFSU. This years recognition also marks the 10th time the Main Campus has been named a top-performing school in the CLE, further solidifying its reputation for consistent academic excellence in criminal justice education.** By Faith B. Napudo
