If you had been following me through the articles I write for this paper then you know that I had been practically “mothballed” the past five years or so. I am still on the recovery stage now. And that I put up a lot of small businesses when I was still in college. I attended more to these businesses than my studies. Thus, consistently, I was always the topnotcher in absences.
From all these I have realized I don’t have the magic touch to make it big in business. I learned also how to work hard and I realized it is the surefire formula for all seasons on how to survive. Perhaps not having much but just having enough.
My having had to work hard all the time, sort of enhanced my spiritual discipline and to exert more effort to maintain it. Thus, it is not anymore so difficult for me to wake up at the break of dawn and to do my meditation or serious prayer and to undertake my daily exercise regimen, yoga for instance.
These assure me good health and to have the positive outlook towards life and the difficulties it entails. The positivity includes rolling with the punches of past bad karma or mistakes in life. Yes, only spirituality can make you gracefully take such and be determined to be a better person next time.
So those who are worried about what the future will bring, don’t be as long as you are industrious and that you ultimately surrender to Him and rely on His Grace and benevolence.
Yes, life is good.**
