As we have predicted early on, the economic sufferings we are enduring now, will last long. And just like in past situations, did government come to your aid? NO. The lesson from that is for us to rely on our selves.
Since the war in the Middle East broke out, people should have started finding ways to tide them over difficult times. The bombing will not stop in a matter of days. They will keep on going and the lack of OPEC juice at reasonable prices will continue. Look at their pump prices now. They had been going up and up and away. The oil producers and the warring parties just don’t care.
So as we tighten our belts in order to survive, we have to think of tomorrow, and the day after… and the days after that. Are you expecting anything to materialize to tide you over?
Each individual is in the best position to come out with solutions, considering his or her circumstances, on how to make ends meet. In the effort to come up with such, we should remain positive. Being negative will just worsen the situation.
In the end, or the bottom line, is for us to go out there and do something.**
