We just celebrated the resurrection and the ascension. These changed the world. But we really need not wait for Easter Sunday to be reminded. For miracles are happening everyday, right before our very noses.
Just a few minutes ago, a mosquito infected with the dengue virus could have surreptitiously flown and landed on an obscure part of your body, injected its micro-needle on the skin to suck blood and then flew away fully fed. It could have deposited some dengue virus that could have caused your death.
We can even go tinier than that. Some unseen Covid-19 virus could have just been blown by the wind into our noses to cause our painful death.
But here we are, alive and kicking. It is a miracle and is happening everyday. So we should be thankful. A mircle need not be an unexplainable bright light on the road to Damascus
In return, the least we can do is to meditate on Him the moment we wake up and before we sleep. As we do these, we become closer to Him. And we become better in health and in spirit.
Actually saints are thinking of God every minute of their lives. They are meditating on Him 24/7. Well, that is why they are godly or are saints.
What does it take for us o be able think or meditate more on God? As we were told so many times on various occasions, all we have to do is to open up our hearts to Him. Surrender our petty pride to Him. Then He or His spirit would flow through us.
We would not have to wait for Easter Sunday to do that. For we should be doing that, thinking of him, 24/7 everyday of the year.
But we are just humans. We forget things or worldly matters easily distract us. But then again we have to go back to the fact that our strength should emanate from Him. As aforesaid, that can only happen if we open our hearts to Him. Let Him in and the changes will follow.
If we have not done that already, then this Easter Sunday is the best time to start. It is never too late.**
