The city council is urging all business establishments in the city to practice good customer service at all times and be more responsive to the immediate concerns of their customers.
Councilor Vladimir Cayabas, in his resolution, said local business managers and personnel are expected to exemplify business ethics in order to sustain and grow their businesses during these challenging times which will eventually direct the city to its “path to economic recovery”.
The councilor stressed that economic recovery requires conscious efforts on the part of the business sector.
Good customer relations paired with a quality brand propels a business, Cayabas said. According to him, it is a proactive practice that should be embedded in the standards of every business in the city regardless of its size and enterprise classification.
Cayabas is also reminding everyone in the business center to be prompt in responding to the needs of customers.
“Effective enterprise service must include a systematic way of managing complaints and understanding areas of customers’ concerns and dissatisfaction. Employing an effective service improvement scheme is likewise essential to business growth,” Cayabas underscored.
Baguio City is not only known as the North’s Citadel of Education but also a popular hub for business activities, he added.
