BAGUIO CITY – Due to the impending entry of Typhoon “Ompong”, the Health Services Office under Dr. Rowena Galpo deemed it prudent to move the Baguio Day Health Fair originally scheduled on September 15 to September 22 at the City Hall grounds.
Local residents and visitors are enjoined to participate in the whole-day activity that will feature booths on hands-on CPR training, hand washing, reflexology, counselling, blood-letting, eye refraction, ventosa, dipstick, screening, yoga, grooming, dental services and more.
Galpo said the health fair will also have booths dispensing information and education on maternal and child care, and non-communicable and communicable diseases.
With the theme, “Cultivating a Culture of Wellness”, the annual event is in partnership with Victory Liner and will include the giving away of health kits to selected participants.**gaby keith
