Prostate cancer was the topic here then it was followed by THE WOMAN BEHIND. That got in the way of the supposed next article, on breast cancer. The woman behind Carlos Yulo’s success had to get in first as a few days after would have meant he was already out of everybody’s radar.
Breast cancer usually hits women, but men can also get it.
There’s a lot of blogs, podcasts and other materials on You Tube about cancer and the most important thing I learned from these is what everybody knows. That cancer is a dreaded disease about which you play an important role. Especially in its contracting.
As to its treatment, we are usually helpless in the hands of doctors. Unless you are going through a metabolic kind of therapy which is quite rare hereabouts.
Cancer in whatever form was very rare, even virtually unknown among our ancestors. They had to chase after wild game all day long for food, or had to exert hard labor from dusk to dusk working the fields. All that exercise and the natural or organic food they ate must have been the secret.
It was not really a secret but became one when work meant, at least for many of us, sitting all day long before a computer and nothing more. And sustenance meant junk food or whatever you can order delivered, or something you picked up along the way. Often loaded with refined sugar and other forms or carbohydrates. Likewise, meat would mean not from animals in the wilds but from those imprisoned in unnatural environments, fattened through feeds.
Therein lies the solution. Have more exercise and eat well, meaning the right food, not junk food. All the chemicals and transfats infused in foods now results in the development of cancer cells…. which we feed with one of their favorite foods—sugar.
So one key is to keep your blood sugar down. Meaning low refined carbohydrates that in the end will be converted into sugar. Detection of these by cancer cells would make them murmur in their language—yum, yum, yum. Yehey! Before you know it, you would be being told by doctors to go through chemotherapy and radiation, that entail taking in a lot of poison they call medicines or drugs. Also, the attendant pain or sufferings, including going bald as well as financial disaster.
Aside from diet and exercise, there are other remedies if you are up to it. For instance, fasting. For thousands of years, even long before Biblical times, it was being done by yoga practitioners. It goes with yoga meditation and exercises. These only got noticed by all and sundry when some Hollywood stars became adherents.
Easy to say things but to battle cancer means you have to be in the fight for your life, literally. Things have to become necessary and must become part of your daily routine. For one, waking up at the break of dawn for your daily exercise (jogging, yoga or whatever you like) would be one of the easiest things to do.
Another thing to consider after going through a life threatening episode in life is karma. I am very much aware of some bad actions I had committed resulting perhaps in my bad karma, but there might be even more lurking in my unconscious or subconscious waiting to be expressed to be cleansed.
That would, however, be for next time.
