The Civil Service Commission-CAR will conduct a two-day Job Fair for Government agencies on October 4-5, 2018 at SM Mall, Baguio City, as part of the celebration of the 118th Anniversary of the Philippine Civil Service with the theme: Lingkod Bayani: Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makabayan.. The Job Fair is a strategy to market highly qualified civil service eligibles for possible employment in government agencies. It is also a government effort to bring its frontline services closer to the public.
Among the participating agencies in the Cordillera Administrative Region are the City Government of Baguio, Baguio General Hospital & Medical Center, DSWD, DOLE, DPWH, BIR and other government agencies.
Job-seekers who wish to enter the government service are advised to bring their bio-data, scholastic records, certificates of eligibility, valid IDs, certificates of training, passport-size photos and the like.
Processing of applications for the vacant positions in the said agencies will start at 10:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 pm on October 4 and 5 at the Events Center, SM Baguio City.
The CSC-CAR will also release certifications of eligibility for passers of the 2017 to March 2018 Career Service Examinations, as well as accept applications for the grant of eligibilities under special laws such as Barangay Official Eligibility (BOE) and Honor Graduate Eligibility (HGE) during the event.
Likewise, service desks of the following government agencies shall be available at the venue as part of the event: DOLE, PhilHealth, GSIS and SSS.
