Illegal drugs mean death
If you were a drug addict, you must have considered radical changes in your life. By all means, get off your addiction or you might prematurely end up six feet under the ground. Go away to rehab yourself, if possible in an institution where many people can keep an eye on you.
Surrendering to authorities then trying to live your life in the same environment where your routine and the places you frequent are well known to authorities is a no-no. As you might have heard, many surrenderees were later gunned down by heavily masked and hooded motorcycle riding people. But you might have a chance if you live sober henceforth unless you are a notorious pusher.
Known drug pushers are already marked and it is highly doubtful their fate would change for the better. Even surrendering a thousand times will not make a difference. Perhaps what would make a difference is if they have high value information that can lead to the taking down of other more “valuable” or notorious characters in the drug trade. As PDu30 said so many times in public, a long time illegal drug user is beyond redemption. So, to the present powers that be, he or she is a dead man or woman walking.
Running away from the reach of heavily masked and hooded shooters might be an option but its feasibility is highly doubtful. If a drug pusher’s brains were already “deep fried” by long time drug use, then he would be as good as crazy. He has to be in a facility where his abnormal ways can be maintained through legit drugs within acceptable levels.
If he had been surviving on drug dealing income the possibility of reform is almost nil. ,Chances are he is uncompetitive in running any legit enterprise where hard work or industry are the main requirements to survive. He would also be uncompetitive or even incompetent to hold a regular job where reliability and regularity of work results are expected. These, coupled with the longing for the easy big money that illegal drug dealing can bring, make it almost impossible to resist the temptation to backslide.
The result is sure death.**
