LA TRINIDAD, Benguet (PIA) – – Online registration is now required for individuals outside Benguet province who plan to cometo this capital town for varied reasons.
Mayor Romeo Salda issued Executive Order 062 series 2020 requiring locally stranded individuals and returning overseas Filipinos to register online prior to their entry to the municipality.
The registration also applies to returning residents, students, individuals who are coming in for purposes of work/employment, for short trip/drop and Go-24 hour travel, for government and business transactions, and those passing through.
The registration is now required as there were reports from the Municipal Health Services Office that a number of individuals enter the town during the wee hours of the night precluding health authorities from monitoring their entry. This is perceived to be contributory to the recent surge in positive COVID-19 cases in the municipality.
The local government provides steps to follow prior to entering the town. First, secure medical clearance from City/Municipal Health Services Office to get Travel Authority from the Police Station of point of origin.
Second, register online at www.latrinidad.gov.ph or access at INCOMING LSIs/ROFs/ESSENTIAL TRAVEL (REGISTRATION FORM)
Third, after registration, health workers will be dispatched to check on the suitability of residences/house for home quarantine.
Fourth, wait for a call from the local government. Fifth, wait for theCertificate of Acceptance to be sent through email or messenger.
Upon entry to the municipality, present received Certificate of Acceptance, either printed or through cellphone photo, at checkpoint.
Proceed immediately to Triage Area at the Provincial Temporary Quarantine Facility, DPWH Compound, Wangal.
Go for mandatory 14-day quarantine either at home or community depending on assessment of triage personnel.
LSIs and ROFs are advised that pre-registration and confirmation are mandatory otherwise they will be denied entry to the municipality. **JDP/SCA-PIA-CAR, Benguet
