Sounds serene, they slowly surround me,
As the world revolves ever so slightly,
Where reasons drip, I plead guilty,
For falling deeper than the well so empty.
Has time stopped before my eyes?
Everything is so elegant and so are lies,
I see the truth, as I look at you blind,
You fill the picture, when I capture your eyes.
I live for reasons that transcend common sense,
For as long as I breathe, I can still see,
If I can still stand, beside you is where I’ll be,
Hold me as I cling onto the words I vow to thee.**
