The Chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP), PGEN RODOLFO S AZURIN JR., graced the turn-over, inauguration, and signing of the Deed of Acceptance of Donation of the newly constructed Tabuk City Police Station (CPS) building which is the first PNP Prototype Building in the Philippines held at Brgy. Laya West, Tabuk City, Kalinga on April 18, 2023.
As the highlight of the ceremony, PGEN AZURIN JR and Atty. Lucas M Managuelod, the Chairman and CEO of Public Safety Savings and Loan Association, Inc (PSSLAI) signed the Deed of Donation with Acceptance, followed by the formal turnover of the Symbolic Key of the new Tabuk CPS building to the Chief of Police, PLTCOL JOEY JONATHAN BAGAYAO.
Subsequently, PGEN AZURIN JR, Atty. Managuelod, Congressman Allen Jessie Mangaoang, Governor James S Edduba, and Tabuk City Mayor Darwin C Estrañero led the ribbon cutting ceremony and unveiling of commemorative markers.
They were assisted by PSSLAI officers; PLTGEN FELIPE NATIVIDAD, Commander of the Area Police Command-Northern Luzon (APC-NL); PMGEN JESUS CAMBAY, JR, The Director for Comptrollership (TDC); PMGEN RONALDO OLAY, The Director for Logistics; PBGEN RICARDO LAYUG, JR., Director of PNP Engineering Service; and PROCOR Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN PATRICK JOSEPH ALLAN.
Rev Fr (PMAJ) ALEXANDER V. PARDO, Regional Pastoral Officer of PROCOR, led the blessing of the building.
PGEN AZURIN JR. in his message expressed his gratitude to PSSLAI headed by Atty. Manguelod for supporting the PNP organization by donating a new building that aims to provide a better workplace for police officers.
The new Tabuk CPS building is the result of the collaboration between the PNP and PSSLAI which costs almost Php 84M while the 2000 sqm lot was donated by the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Tabuk City. **PROCOR-PIO
