“Salamat kapatid”
In appreciation for their commitment and long years of police service, the Police Regional Office Cordillera honored nine retiring personnel through the PNP retirement ceremony known as “Salamat Kapatid Program” held at Masigasig Grandstand, Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on March 18, 2022.
The program is in honor of PLT IMELDA GAYAMOS; PLT EDUARDO BIGWIL, JR.; PEMS Barnett Tumayab; PEMS Tomas Lambino; PEMS Alejandro Ladiong; PEMS Reynaldo Mariñas; PEMS Eduardo Emingga; PEMS Julius Gollod; and PEMS Roy Bayachan.
In recognition of their faithful and honorable service to the organization and the people, the Deputy Regional Director for Administration, PBGEN JOHN C CHUA, awarded the Medalya ng Paglilingkod (PNP SERVICE MEDAL) and Plaque of Appreciation to each of the nine retiring cops.
Certificates of recognition were also given to the families of the retirees as a grateful appreciation of the PNP for their love, sacrifice, support, and understanding to the retiring police officers.
In his message, PBGEN CHUA extended his appreciation and respect to the nine retirees for their long years of service and boundless commitment to the attainment of the mission and vision of PNP, especially in PROCOR
The Retirement Honors Ceremony, also known as the “Salamat Kapatid Program” is a tradition of giving honors and recognition to the retiring personnel of the PNP for their long years of dedicated and untiring service to the organization, the country, and the community.
A unity walk for a S.A.F.E. NLE 2022 in Benguet
With the nearing May 9 National and Local Elections, Benguet Police Provincial Office (PPO) initiated a unity walk for a Secure, Accurate, Free, and Fair Elections (SAFE) 2022 in La Trinidad, Benguet on March 17, 2022.
Police officers of Benguet PPO with the personnel of COMELEC-Benguet, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG), Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting (PPCRV), and the Provincial Electoral Candidates of Benguet walked from La Trinidad Municipal Grounds to the Provincial Capitol Grounds of Benguet where a program was held to promote a SAFE 2022.
The program was highlighted with an ecumenical prayer for peace and peace covenant signing or the signing of the Integrity Pledge.
Further, it ended with the “Unity Messages” of the members of the Provincial COMELEC Campaign Committee which aims to attain peace and unity; maintain good cyber-hygiene; ensure transparency in the sources of campaign financing, and maximize public trust in the electoral process.
In his message, Benguet PPO Provincial Director, PCOL REYNALDO PASIWEN said that the conduct of free and peaceful elections in the province of Benguet must be sustained through the collaborative efforts of the different government agencies, religious groups, and the Benguet Province Electoral Candidates.
“With our collective efforts, we can proudly say that the voice of the people is the voice of God. I, therefore, urge everyone to follow the rules set by COMELEC and make the election in the province peaceful. On the part of PNP, Benguet PPO will remain apolitical and fair in treating every candidate”, PCOL PASIWEN added.
