Accident with injuries
At about 10:20 a.m. of January 05, 2020, personnel of Bokod MPS, Benguet PPO received a report that a Hyundai van with plate number XAZ 662 incurred mechanical defect at about 9:40 a.m. of January 5, 2020 at Adonot, Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet. The van stopped at Upper Adonot Restaurant, Ambuclao, Benguet to refill the radiator. When they were about to leave, the restaurant owner removed the choke of the wheel and apparently the vehicle lost its brakes and it started moving downhill prompting the driver to ram it on the side of the hill more or less 200 meters away. Subsequently the vehicle fell on its left side and the 10 passengers and the driver sustained injuries. The victims were rushed to the Baguio General Hospital by the ambulance of Brgy. Ambuklao, Bokod, Benguet and an ambulance of Paracelis, Mtn. Province that was passing by.
Indignation rally
At around 8:00 a.m. on January 8, 2020, personnel of Tadian MPS, 1502nd RMFB, LGU Tadian led by Mayor Masweng, Brgy. officials and civilian volunteers with placards gathered at the Tadian Municipal grounds, Poblacion, Tadian, Mtn. Province to denounce all forms of atrocities and terrorism.
