Some news reports are coming out with info that gas prices may see some rollback in the coming weeks. But these rollbacks, when compared to the increase that occurred for the past weeks, seem very underwhelming. In the first days of the increasing gas prices, drivers asked for the government to slow down the increase at the vey least, they were simply ignored, and prices soared at such a short amount of time instead. Now that rollbacks are coming in, they will come in miniscule amounts.
In the coming weeks or even months, depending on Trump’s actions, whether gas prices do go down slowly, increase again, or remain at an absurdly high prices, the government’s slow action and refusal to give drivers even a chance to adjust to increasing prices must never be forgotten.
The government is quick to act when they can increase prices and get more money from the people, but when it actually gives back in the form of “ayudas” they shield it with requirements, paper works, give out only disrespectfully low amount and any such that will prevent or at the least make it hard for the already suffering ordinary people to get their due.
The government gladly takes but hesitates to give back. No matter what happens in the coming weeks, let our government’s greed and selfishness remain clear in the heads of the masses and never be forgotten, used instead for the time of reckoning, when crisis comes to the elites not in the form of stormy weather, or even expensive goods, but in the form of angry mobs knocking down their gates. **
