CAMP DANGWA, Benguet — Seven policemen from the Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PRO-COR) were recognized for topping the last two national examinations given by the National Police Commission (Napolcom) for law enforcers.
Regional Director Elmo Francis Sarona said those who made it to the top ten in the 2017 exams for senior police officers were Police Officer 2 (PO) Denver Vicente Dolin (6th), PO2 Rachelle Grace Cabalo Baruela (8th), SPO1 Elijanuaren Marcos Alibuyog and PO1 Marivic Einjansantos Azurin, both at 10th place.
Sarona said that in 2016, three Cordillera policemen also made it to the top ten of the same examination. They were PO2 Joven Cayabas Pulano from the crime laboratory service in Mountain Province (2nd), PO1 Elynor Charisma Valeros of Bangued, Abra (8th), and PO2 Francisco Ayeo-eo Pespes of the BCPO (10th).
All of them were promoted to the rank of Senior Police Officers. Sarona said the achievement of the seven police officers speaks well of their high-degree of competence and aptitude.
“I’d like to congratulate them for their promotions and second for their intelligence. I do hope that more Cordillera police will excel during examinations. I hope that they will show the same intelligence and aptitude in performimg their duty,” Sarona said. **Dionisio Dennis, Jr./ PNA
