Even with our anti-dynasty constitution, political dynasties is one of our main problems as a country. For the Congress should enact a law to implement that. But since most of our politicians are members or political dynasties, nothing is forthcoming to that effect.
Thus, we should keep on meditating or praying against dynasties. We should be repeating it unto ourselves and every time it is appropriate, to voice out our being against it in our daily conversations. With it foremost in our minds, we will undertake the necessary acts whenever we can for dynasties not to happen in the real world.
It would not be long, for instance, and the barangay election will be upon us. There we can actualize our abomination to political dynasties. We should not vote for those aligned with politicians who are supportive of it. More so if they, or their families are guilty of actualizing it.
They are everywhere. For emphasis, as with any other problem of ours, it goes all the way to the very top, and down to the lowest rungs of government. Even our lowly barangay captains would like their own dynasties if they are allowed to have their way. So we should nip in the bud any effort to achieve it even in the lowly places of officialdom.
The anti-dynasty sentiment should be made clear to all and sundry. We should be allergic to it, avoiding it like the plague. If this becomes widespread, no politician in his right mind would even think about, much less support and implement it even if in a small way.**
